The breakfast was impressive with lots of options. The games room was fun, especially the ping pong. Noise from the street was noticeable at night. Our room had a cute retro feel and was clean.

This place is awesome for exploring downtown Moab with shops and restaurants just a short stroll away, like the Jailhouse Cafe and Moab Coffee Roasters that are less than 5 minutes on foot, plus with popular attractions like Ken's Lake and Wilson's Arch right around the corner, making it perfect for a walking adventure. The hotel offers a heated pool with a slide that my kids loved and a solid breakfast spread to fuel up for a day of sightseeing, but the cleanliness of the pool could use more attention with all the traffic.

The location is unbeatable—just steps from dining and shopping, plus a quick drive to national parks. The breakfast? Amazing variety and the chance to sleep in, no grab-and-go nonsense! While the pool area delighted the kids with its waterslide, we encountered some hiccups: a dirty room and a leaking bathroom. The friendly staff was a mixed bag; some were great but others seemed disengaged. Cleanliness definitely needs attention, especially the floors. the fun amenities and family-friendly vibe keep us coming back. Just hoping for a bit more consistency next time!

Clean rooms, clean breakfast with waffles and delicious breakfast sandwiches that provided the perfect start to our full days exploring the nearby parks.

The room was poorly located with zero sunlight, and I was woken up all night by loud trucks rumbling past. To top it off, the staff was unhelpful when I complained. Never again!

The huge rooms fit our family perfectly. The pool and slide are a blast, and breakfast has plenty of decent options.

Perfect location—just one block from the center. Clean, spacious rooms with strong amenities. The outdoor heated pool? A fantastic surprise. Kids adored the water slide and game room’s table tennis. Breakfast offered decent variety—enough to fuel our adventures. warm options were limited, and a bit more attention to detail would enhance the experience. Staff warmth varied; some were welcoming, while others seemed disengaged. Traffic noise echoed at night, which affected sleep quality. There’s potential, but improvements in staff attitude and array of services would elevate this place. A solid spot for families, but be prepared for some inconsistencies. Would consider returning if these matters were addressed.

The retro design and cozy lobby gave me all the feels! I adored the swimming pool and jacuzzi; perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Plus, the game room was a fun bonus for some family bonding time!

The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and a big TV my kids loved there were fun games and a slide at the pool plus a decent breakfast with waffles and fruits. Staff were friendly and always ready to help making us feel right at home.
It wasn't exactly cheap but for the experience and space it offered us it felt worth it.

The AC unit was a bit loud, which could disrupt sleep. There was a trickle of hot water in the sink; cold water had good pressure. The bathroom exhaust fan seemed ineffective, blowing warm air instead. The breakfast options were decent, though not outstanding. The game room and pool area provided a fun escape, especially for kids. A good location overall, but updates would enhance the stay significantly.

Location is awesome, right on the main strip. Rooms were clean and spacious with 3 queen beds. Loved the heated pool and water slide, perfect for the kids. Free breakfast had a lot of choices. Pets allowed for no extra charge. Nice vibes in the breakfast area, like a fifties diner.

We hit up Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge to check out those sick dinosaur tracks. The heated pool and water slide were lit for chilling after a long day of exploring. Definitely coming back for more epic adventures!
Would've loved some more nighttime vibes at the hotel - maybe a cool rooftop hangout spot with music and lights for those late-night parties! .

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Moab. The vintage Route 66 vibe of the rooms was charming, and the included breakfast was impressive with a variety of options like waffles, yogurt, cereals, and muffins. there were some drawbacks to our stay. The air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, revving up every 20 minutes and sounding like a garbage truck. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the street traffic, especially the loud garbage truck emptying dumpsters in the early morning, was disruptive. The room itself was clean, but there were some maintenance issues like discolored caulk lines in the shower that made it look less appealing. The staff also seemed a bit indifferent, with one staff member walking into our room without knocking despite the do not disturb sign. while there were some positive aspects to our stay at Expedition Lodge, such as the spacious rooms and pet-friendly policy, the noise and maintenance issues detracted from our overall enjoyment. For future visits to Moab, we may explore other lodging options to ensure a more relaxing experience.

Great space for families, 50's vibe, and impressive breakfast selection. Found a mouse in the room, but the manager promptly refunded us. I'll recommend this hotel.

The room was comfy, and the breakfast had grab-and-go options. The central location near shops and restaurants was a bonus.
Despite the decent room, staff were unfriendly, and road noise was bothersome during the day. The water leak issue was ignored by management, making the bathroom unusable.

The kids were thrilled to see the ancient imprints and marvel at their size and shape. It was a fun and educational family adventure right in nature's backyard.
For dads, it would be great if there were more interactive activities for children onsite.

we absolutely loved Expedition Lodge. the thermal spring water pool with a slide was fantastic, and we had a blast chilling in the hot tub with our beers while it snowed. the staff, especially Rico, Christi L, and Hannah, were super friendly and helpful. the breakfast was incredible, with a wide selection including delicious waffles and cereal with chocolate drops. the convenient location allowed us to walk to the main street and enjoy the shops. it was a perfect stay.

I chose Expedition Lodge for its proximity to the stunning Ken's Lake and the majestic Manti-La Sal National Forest. To my surprise, the hotel's amenities, including free WiFi and an outdoor heated pool, were delightful. I particularly enjoyed breakfast in the shared kitchen and gathering with family around the outdoor grill.

The friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the recently renovated rooms were spacious, clean, and oozing with charm. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep for our entire family. The central location allowed us to easily explore the town's shops and restaurants, and we were just a short distance away from the national park. Free Wi-Fi was an added bonus, keeping us connected throughout our stay.
The breakfast offered at the hotel left much to be desired. Limited options and processed food made for a disappointing start to the day.

super cute room with all the amenities we needed. great location near shops and restaurants. close to arches national park. the staff was so friendly and helpful - they even offered children’s life jackets and pool toys.
Would be happy to recommend.
